Welcome !

Thank you for choosing Haas Chiropractic P.C

Chiropractic is a complete system of healthcare focused on restoring, preserving, and optimizing health by natural hands-on care.  Our analysis focuses on the relationship between the body's main structure--the skeleton, muscle, and nerves--and our patient's health.  When the spine is not positioned or functioning normally, it can affect the nerves exiting the spine.

With over 20 years of chiropractic services, Dr. Timothy .M. Haas focuses on restoring the proper position and function of the spine.

Please give us a call or feel free to explore our site to learn more about our services. We want you to feel comfortable knowing that from your first visit, you will be treated with the care and compassion you would expect from a team of professionals.

SERVICES
CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENT
REHABILITATION EXERCISE

A chiropractic adjustment involves an analysis of the joints in your body and detection of abnormal movement or placement, called a subluxation.  When a vertebrae is subluxated, the body produces small amounts of inflammation or swelling around the joint which can slow down the nerve impulse to the rest of the body.  Because the spine houses the spinal cord, there is a close relationship between the spine not functioning properly and the nerve impulses or messages able to travel to the body's muscles, organs, and tissue.   We use spinal adjustments to fix the abnormal movement within the spine and joints, restoring proper nervous system function and communication between your brain and spinal cord and the rest of your body.  Each doctor has received advanced training in the techniques he or she offers (see individual doctor's pages for information about their specialties).  The techniques offered in this clinic include the following:
  Full Spine-Diversified and Manual
   Thompson Drop Table
  Activator Protocol
    Diversified
   Webster
Spinal Decompression
  Sacral Occipital Technique

Rehabilitation exercises have been proven to improve joint and muscle function, aid in balance, and help in preventing new injuries. Anyone with back, neck, arm, or leg pain caused by a damaged disc may benefit by non-surgical spinal decompression. This works by decompressing, or tractioning the spine and disc to allow the proper nutrients to re-hydrate the disc and aid in healing.

THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES
ULTRASOUND & E-STIM

In addition to an adjustment to help you reach your health goals faster.  We offer multiple therapeutic modalities in our office and take great care in recommending the right treatment protocol for each patient.

Ultrasound uses sound waves to penetrate deep inside the tissue using a transducer or applicator and a gel.  Patients can benefit from ultrasound therapy in three ways: faster healing time because of increased blood flow to an area, decrease in swelling and pain in an area, and gentle stimulation of muscles, tendons and/or ligaments while softening any scar tissue.  Ultrasound is shown to be beneficial for a variety of conditions including the following:
joint swelling
   tendonitis

musle spasm
  pain in many regions

Electrical stimulation uses electrical currents to cause a muscle or muscle group to contract and relax in a specific pattern.   Using electrode pads, a muscle's blood supply is increased through the contractin pattern, whether aggressive or gentle depending on the needs of the patient.  Healing is increased in the muscle region because of the increased blood pumping through the muscle or muscle group.
